Won't be surprised if this actually doesn't come out.. BUT, I am kinda surprised to see you haven't changed in the last 5 years..

Shut the hell up and work on the damn thing, and release it, and maybe if it is any good... then you could talk.

I think someone's actually gotten the point for once. I get the rather foreboding feeling that you actually think we're being serious though.

You guys are so silly, even the title of the topic is a dig at how pwman never gets released and we just change the backgrounds. But no lets take it all serious and get butt hurt over it...

What a ridiculous statement to make.

On a separate note, I find it humorous that most people seemed quite interested in the website proposal Skittle and I made for a wrestling-sim media blog, which heavily featured critical analysis in the same style as that found on ProWrestlingManager.com but, as soon as we announced that the game is in production, people take issue with me maintaining that critical position.

To address LordHart's accusations of my hypocrisy: there is nothing hypocritical about holding, or expressing, a negative opinion of an individual's creative output whilst your own is still in the working stages. If I were to slate Extreme Warfare for being slow and harsh on the eye and subsequently release a slow and visually displeasing game then that would warrant your accusation. This, obviously, isn't the case since I haven't yet released anything; I've simply expressed the opinion I've always held and written during my time in the simulator community - regardless of whether I've been working on a project. Do you expect me to suddenly become overbearingly polite because I've decided to try my hand at wrestling-sim authorship? Would you tell someone who cooks as a hobby that they couldn't comment on food in a restaurant because they aren't a professional chef?

Whilst I do grant that my comments about Head-to-Head wrestling are blatantly hypocritical, I thought that, since that particular game's hype and popularity far dwarfed any of my own, it would simply be taken as a sim community 'in-joke'. Obviously the issue, even four years on, still has the clout to tickle certain people's sandy vagina.

As I've said before, I have respect for anyone who undertakes the task of producing a wrestling simulator; it's difficult and time consuming. Most of the released promoter sims have individually contributed to the genre in their own way. However, that doesn't mean I should have to justify myself to every idiot who takes umbrage with the way I write, on the occasions that I should make a frivolous remark, in jest, about situations that arose in the past. All I ask is that you extend me enough courtesy to allow me to express my opinion and don't hurl under-thought accusations of hypocrisy in my direction.
